You were never meant to stay in the same place spiritually.
Faith is alive. It grows, deepens and becomes stronger as we walk with God.
Yet many Christians quietly believe that maturity will simply happen with time.
It does not.
Time can give us experience, but spiritual maturity grows through truth, practice, encouragement and a willingness to keep saying yes to God.
Paul wrote:
“We will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.” — Ephesians 4:15
Notice the word grow.
Maturity is a journey.
A child does not become strong by reading about food. They need to eat, move, rest and keep growing. In the same way, we do not mature in faith by collecting teaching alone.
Truth must become part of the way we think, pray, respond and live.
Perhaps you have heard wonderful teaching over the years. You may know many Bible verses and have experienced powerful moments with God.
But the real question is this:
Is what you know becoming part of who you are?
That is where real discipleship begins.
From information to maturity
One of the strongest ways we have seen people grow at LSSM is through the Grow journey.
Grow has never been about filling people with more information.
It is a personal discipleship experience designed to help people move from passive faith into a stronger, more active and mature life with God.
Students grow in:
Intimacy with God
Confidence in their Kingdom identity
Courage to put faith into practice
Wisdom for everyday life
The ability to encourage and strengthen others
This next season will make Grow+ even stronger.
Andrew and other LSSM students will teach all 112 Year 1 talks live, one talk each week.
We are planning two cohorts, one during the day and one in the evening, so people can choose the rhythm that works best for them.
Each week will include live teaching, mentoring connected to the previous theme, and small-group encouragement and activation.
The goal is simple:
Not just to hear Kingdom truth, but to grow in it until it shapes your life.
Today’s activation
Take five quiet minutes and ask yourself:
Where does my faith most need to mature right now?
It could be:
Trusting God when life feels uncertain
Hearing His voice more clearly
Becoming secure in your identity
Responding to conflict with love
Praying with greater confidence
Moving from fear into courage
Write down one area.
Then ask God:
“What is one step I can take this week to grow?”
Do not look for a huge answer. Maturity often begins with one small, faithful step.
A declaration for today
I am not stuck. God is growing me. His truth is becoming part of my life, and I am maturing in faith one step at a time.

This 8-week course is for people who want to gently explore the impact their relationship with their mother may have had on their heart, identity, relationships, and connection with God. We have not had the opportunity to consider the effect of mother wounds, whether through absence, lack of comfort, criticism, control, emotional distance, or painful memories that may still affect daily life. This course offers a safe and prayerful space to begin recognising those wounds.

But not many have heard teaching on the redemptive/motivational gifts mentioned in Romans 12. This is how you are designed to redeem the world. Understanding your gift is so important to partner with it and to learn how others function. This 8-week course covers in depth the gifts that will equip you to operate in your redemptive gift.
Jesus gave us authority.
