What Are You on the Planet For? Creation Is Waiting for You to Be Revealed

*By Andrew Chapman, Founder & CEO, London School of Supernatural Ministry*

---

There is a verse that has been sitting with me this week. Romans 8:19:

" For creation is waiting in eager anticipation for the children of God to be revealed."*

I want to start there. Not with a business plan. Not with whether your website is ready, or whether your idea is polished enough, or whether you have a logo.

I want to start with this truth: **you are meant to be revealed.**

There is something of God in you that the world is meant to encounter. A wisdom you carry. A burden you carry. A gift, a story, a solution, an assignment — a piece of heaven that is meant to move through your life into the world around you.

And the question is not "what can I do?" The question is: *Why are you on the planet?*

Creation Is Not Waiting for Celebrities

Romans 8:19 doesn't say creation is waiting for perfect people to be revealed. It doesn't say creation is waiting for people with huge platforms, polished branding, or total clarity.

It says creation — the world around you — is waiting in **eager anticipation** for the children of God.

Sons and daughters. Royal priests. People who stand before God in intimacy and then stand before the world with responsibility.

That means people who know who they are in him. And that means you.

If you're still alive, there is something God wants to reveal through you to the world.

We're Standing in a Significant Place

I recorded this week's podcast from Moggerhanger Park in Bedfordshire — a house with a remarkable history. It's connected to Henry Thornton and the Clapham Sect: a group of ordinary Christians who, in the late 18th and early 19th centuries, looked at one of the great evils of their age — the transatlantic slave trade — and refused to accept it.

They refused to say "the political system is too powerful." They refused to say "the economics are too entrenched." They refused to keep their faith personal when the world needed it to be public.

They were not professional reformers. They were bankers, politicians, writers, and clergy. But they believed that Jesus was not only Lord of church services — he was Lord of systems, laws, economics, trade, politics, families, and nations.

Through prayer, strategy, relationships, courage, persistence, and sacrifice — they changed history. The transatlantic slave trade was abolished in 1807. Slavery across much of the British Empire ended in 1833.

Those were not casual victories. They were costly, long strategic battles.

And they raise a question for us today: **What is the cry of creation that you are called to answer?**

The Groaning of Creation

Romans 8:19 tells us that creation itself is groaning. Look around at what the world is waiting for:

Families are waiting for healing. Young people are waiting for fathers and mothers. The poor are waiting for advocates. Businesses are waiting for kingdom integrity. Schools are waiting for wisdom. Politics is waiting for courage. Media is waiting for truth. Art is waiting for beauty. Communities are waiting for reconciliation.

Your family is waiting for you to stand up and know who you are.

Many of us have been praying for God to send somebody. Sometimes God says: *I've been preparing you.*

Not because you're the whole answer — Jesus is the Saviour. But because sons and daughters are called to reveal the King and his kingdom. Royal priests do two things: minister to God in intimacy and represent his rule in the world. You are called upward and outward.

Why Most People Never Launch

So many people never launch what God has placed in them. And in my experience, it's not laziness. It's one of four stuck phases.

Phase 1 — "I don't know what I'm meant to do."

You know there's *something* for you. But you can't name it clearly. You've been waiting for a sign, a confirmation, a perfect moment of certainty.

Phase 2 — "I know what I'm meant to do, but I don't know how to start."

You feel paralysed. Do you need a website? Permission? More training? More money? A team? Because you can't see the whole route, you don't take the first step.

Phase 3 — "I started, but I've stalled."

You made a beginning. You told people. You started posting, held a meeting, wrote an outline. Then momentum faded. People didn't respond the way you hoped. Discouragement set in.

Phase 4 — "I'm disappointed."

This is the hidden one. Some people aren't confused — they're hurt. They tried before and it failed. Someone shut them down. When they stepped out, they felt exposed. Church pain is very real, and it can stop people from ever trying again.

If you recognise yourself in any of these — that's not your shame. **That's your starting point.**

The Launch Gap

Inside our new programme, we help people move through what we call the Launch Gap:

Calling → Clarity → Courage → Consistency → Launch

A prophetic word is not a plan. A burden is not a launch. A dream is not yet a roadmap. And a conversation you keep having with yourself is not the same thing as obedience.

You don't wait until you feel fully confident. You become clearer *by getting going*. You become braver *by obeying*. You become consistent *by building rhythm*. And you launch by taking the first faithful step seriously.

A Simple Exercise

Before you do anything else today, open your notes app and write this sentence:

*"The thing I keep coming back to is..."*

Don't edit it. Don't spiritualise it. Just write.

Then write: *"The place I feel stuck is..."*

And choose one of the four phases above.

This is your beginning. Not your shame. Your beginning.
